Our Impact Towards the 2030 Agenda

There is this idea that we hold which is so strongly engraved in our hearts and minds that we are all part of something grand.

We chose not to define it so as not to limit what great it could achieve. It is the idea that ‘us is you and you is we’.

It is this idea that drives and inspires us to grow and thrive together, and to play our role in contributing to efforts aimed at improving quality of life and sustaining our environment.

In our efforts to contribute to SDG 4, the educational goal, whose mission is to ‘Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’, we have embarked on a lifelong project to contribute to efforts aimed at promoting literacy and improving our writing industry.

In the initial phase, we have since committed efforts to creating a virtual book space that will allow free access to a variety of literature; and as a means of support to the Zambian Writing Industry, we have dedicated a section that will commit to the purchase and showcase of Zambian authored published work.

Quality education is the strongest foundation to the development of any society, for what a Community or Nation becomes depends on the quality of education provided to its people.

It is only when a community is capable of holding an understanding of particular working environments which is provided through quality education can it progress.

The UN reports: Education liberates the intellect, unlocks the imagination and is fundamental for self-respect. It is the key to prosperity and opens a world of opportunities, making it possible for each of us to contribute to a progressive, healthy society. Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all.
